In addition to the strict standards of food and workplace safety, in accordance with the Marquette County Health Department, we are committed to going above and beyond to ensure employee and customer safety with the addition of the following list of Covid-19 protocols. Please note, that as new guidelines are enacted, or changed, we are staying up-to-date and are committed to adapting to the circumstances we are facing while figuring out what our new 'normal' is.
- All employees will be subject to a contactless temperature and symptom check at the beginning of each shift. Any employee with a temperature of over 100 degrees ferinheight will be denied access to the building. Feverish employees will be excluded from the workforce until they have been both fever free for 72 hours as well as asymptomatic for 7 days.
- Employees are required to wear a mask, covering their mouth and nose, for the duration of their shift. They are not to touch their faces.
- Employees will be debriefed on current handwashing procedures, which include the Covid-19 update of washing hands for 20 seconds with warm, soapy water.
- For the protection of our employees, customers, and fellow Harlow Block building tenants, only employees are permitted inside the building.
- A sanitation liaison will be appointed and present during our hours of operations, to ensure all staff and customers are following safety guidelines, and to facilitate the constant and correct sanitation of all surfaces.
- All orders will utilize our new contactless pick up system.
- Employees as well as customers are asked to practice strict social distancing, and keep six feet apart whenever possible.
- Cleaning and sanitizing products are EPA approved and effective at killing coronaviris.
- We strongly encourage all customers that are able to, to wear a mask or face covering when picking up their orders.
- Cash that is accepted will be received with a gloved hand and quarantined for 48 hours.
- All employee masks will be sanitized at shift end with UVC light.
